My hair up in a pony tail and wearing my new Nike Wedge sneakers! and yes, another black and white look! I do love to combine lace/lingerie with a sporty feel and the Zara trench-dress-coat gives just that perfect contemporary touch! The pony tail is not only a fresh change but really necessary too to give my hair a much needed break from the curling iron! (and yes, I'm addicted to everything Misbhv!)

Summer Beauty combating Make-up meltdowns

It's Summer which means (for some like me) Epic make-up meltdowns and make-up landslides in times when you need your make-up to stay put the most! I'm not talking about the beach or festivals but serious business! I'm talking DATING! (okay I have had Fashion Week make-up meltdowns too) The Summer Beauty rules of engagement are quite simple; less is more and to protect but these two are a bit more harder when you are going on a date with a possible mr. Perfect (where you really want to slather on make-up) and are about to have diner and drinks in daylight and yes the full sun! And is it just me or do alcohol+diner+excitement/nerves help to looking like being hit with a sledgehammer after 4 hours or so?

Anyway it was time to investigate and to go deep on finding Summer Beauty secrets, these are my favorite tutorials and tips thus far!

You don't have to follow every trend because sometimes there are just trends that are not very "you" That's what I had with the wedge sneakers... until that is... I did saw the Nike's Dunk Ski High's before in White Mesh (I'm loving the Black Mesh too) and had to admit I liked them but still considered them to be nothing for me. The other day I tried them on, just to give it a go... and wow, I really really loved them seeing them on! I think this is a trend that somehow needs to suit you. The moment I tried them on I imagined them wearing long length dresses, short dresses and shorts! I really say give them a try and you might love them the way I do and then some!
